The coins
First, the good news. I moved on with coins production and found a maker in Greece! We are working on prototypes and I needed to adapt the design as there were too detailed. Here comes some of their past production and how I needed to change my design.
Lockdown is supposed to end, in France, in a week - on May 11th. After being hard to stay inside, it is now hard to go outside! I send around 15 orders (from my shop) on April 22th, and since then the tracking device is « on hold » position - Frustrating. Hope it will change soon. Everything is still unsure and it is hard to plans...
I will try to resend the tucks cases (printed in France by Studio Pression), to manufacture in Ukraine (who print the cards and will finish them) in the coming days. I took the risk to send them at the start of lockdown but they came back after some weeks. So now I will send them in 2 times and hope there will be no more customs problems.
The special sleeves
The printing of the sleeves is on hold too. Studio Pression should start the printing soon, hoping to be delivered of the paper needed. There will be double, triple and quadruple sleeves. So, as some of you asked details, here is the plan :
2 decks: double sleeve
3 decks: triple sleeve
4 decks: quadruple sleeve
5 decks: 1 double + 1 triple
6 decks: it will depend on the decks : 3 doubles / 2 triple / 1 double + 1 quadruple

Deluxe box set
It is sadly on hold too. I want to make it in wood, and Thibault Malet who made the first edition box set can not get wood! Everything is complicated, but it is just a question of time.

I hope you are happy and safe. On my side, I wanted to send this update for a long time but I have the bad idea to get a toothache and this is really bad timing as everything is on lockdown in France. I won't go into detail but this fu*%¨°.? tooth hurts me fu%$*`% badly...
Thank you for all who complete the surveys. I know have canceled unpaid pledges and so on see what limited edition was left... which is not a lot. There are only 3 sets of the 4 shades of grey edition available.
4 shades of grey is a set of 4 decks limited to 100 copies and hand numbered.
50 supports did not reply yet, so please check your email and the spam folder as you must have received reminders...

Also, the current situation change plans and it is hard to have all the info I need to do an accurate estimate for shipping... I hope May but it is more accurate to say June as lockdown for France is officially announced until May 11th... for now... The most important is to stay safe!

Surveys are coming

I hope you are healthy and safe, as well as the people you love. It has been 3 weeks now that we are on lockdown in France, it is a really strange feeling, all days look the same. But nothing compared to some people who work daily to let us stay safe.
The funds finally arrived. I was longer than usual, and sadly a lot of payment did not finalize. But using Backerkit, you can update that. I will come back to it.
Just after sending this update, I will send thesurveys to 5% of the backers. You will get an email from Backerkit. It is to test if everything goes well. If everything is ok, a few hours later, I will send the survey to everyone.
Why Backerkit and not Kickstarter surveys?
It is a very well done management platform that makes things easier. The best is to answer as soon as you get it (please check you spam folder if you do not get it in the next 36 hours).
With Backerkit you will be able to :
confirm your pledge level.
pay the uncollected pledge if it fails on Kickstarter.
specify items you added during the campaign.
add more items as I propose you a lot of more goodies.
enter the address (this can be changed later).
You may also switch to a higher pledge level. The problem is if you do this there is no coming back! So it won't be a good idea if you take a limited edition item as they are not available in Backerkit!
You will have access to a lot of add-ons!
You will be able to add dices, coasters, coins, but also uncut sheets or bricks. There will be no extra post costs for small items, only if you add large ones like sheets or bricks. If you pledge for the previous campaign, you will have a question before you access add-ons. Everything will be sent together as soon as possible.
Is there any more Collector's edition?
For now, all the collector's editions are taken and reserved to people who pledge for them. BUT, almost 7% of the payment failed, which means if you did not finalize of Backerkit, I will make them available again. That's why it is super important to answer ASAP. No problem if you change your mind, but just tell me soon!
Timeline in this strange situation
This awful pandemic has effects on us all. Globally, we are business and social activity in a complete lockdown. It is the case for me, I close my studio and delivery services are now working in my home town for 2 weeks now, even UPS or DHL are slower than ever (when they work). My plans were to get everything sent in April but it won't be possible.
The most important is that you and your family are all safe. But we have to be very realistic about the current international situation which influences the timelines of border crossings, transits, customs processing and deliveries of goods worldwide. Nothing we can change about that right now, as the main concern is to save as many lives as possible. I will be updating you regularly about this. I will send a full production update soon.

I hope you are safe. If like me you support other Kickstarter projects, you get a lot of messages from creators on how the actual situation impacts us. I am staying at home for 12 days now and France government just asks us to stay inside for another 2 weeks starting on Tuesday, so until April 15th. The important is to no spread this, stay strong.
So the funds should arrive at me in a week now, so until then I am working on the Backerkit, the management platform which will help you and me!
Uncollected pledges
It is common for a few backers' pledges to fail to collect. Yesterday was the 7th day and if you did not solve this issue, you have been removed from the Kickstarter campaign. It means that you will not receive the updates as usual, and will not be part of the Kickstarter campaign any longer. BUT as I use Backerkit, it allows backers that have been removed from the Kickstarter campaign to be back on the project. So, no worries, you are still in the loop and will get the survey. It will state that your fund was not taken by Kickstarter so you should enter a new payment form to proceed.
Backerkit benefits
If Kickstarter is very good to create the project, Backerkit makes is the perfect tool to manage it. As this is a double campaign, and some of you already pledge for the previous one, it will help to make only one package with all your items. I would not have lunch this collector's edition without Backerkit possibilities to manage everything.
So now, I am working on this to send your survey as soon as possible.
